Realizing Tomorrow’s World of Additive Manufacturing with Nano Dimension

“The future is made with the dreams of today,” boomed the voice of the late Shimon Peres, president of Israel a decade ago, through a holographic projection at the inauguration ceremony of the Israeli Innovation Center on October 25, 2018. Among the audience were Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, China’s Vice-President Wang Qishan and e-commerce heavyweight Alibaba co-founder Jack Ma.

The new Innovation Center serves as a showcase of Israel’s booming high-tech scene, presenting innovations in dealing with tomorrow’s challenges in health, food, electronics, agriculture, cyber and sustainability. As a country known for its start-up culture, Israel’s twenty-odd thousand square kilometers of land is shared by an astounding 8300 high-tech companies, according to summit organizer Peres Center for Peace & Innovation. This creates both intense competition for those who choose to adopt a bull-headed approach, as well as unlimited possibilities for partnerships and knowledge exchange for the more collaborative.
