Nano Dimension's Mid-week Update at the Tradeshows

It’s mid-week and we’re halfway into our two concurrent tradeshows in Germany – electronica in Munich (Hall A1 Booth 110) and formnext in Frankfurt (stand 3.0-J54). For the past two days, we’ve been hard at work demonstrating how Nano Dimension’s DragonFly Pro System for precision additive manufacturing of printed electronics can speed up development time, empower agile workflows, unleash innovation and create competitive advantages for engineers, designers and businesses.

Here’s what we are exhibiting at both tradeshows in greater detail:

 

New Additive Manufacturing Applications

 

electronica use casesVisitors to the applications corners at electronica and formnext were treated to a wide array of new functional circuitry designs 3D printed on our DragonFly Pro system. Since the launch of the DragonFly Pro last year, we have many new use cases demonstrating our transformative additive manufacturing solutions.

Highlights include our recently released 3D printed RF amplifier circuit board developed in partnership with American technology company Harris Corporation. The RF amplifier, 3D printed on the DragonFly Pro, demonstrated performance comparable to those of a traditional manufactured circuit, marking an exciting milestone for 3D printed electronics.

While you’re there, learn how business such as Phytec New Dimensions are leveraging our DragonFly Pro to reduce rework time by up to 97%. We are also showing a new case study with Dassault Systemes, demonstrating the capability to develop electronic products faster than ever before.

 

 

 

 

Cognitive Lighting on a Steering Wheel

 

In a groundbreaking proof of how 3D printed electronics can benefit the next generation of automotive systems, engineers at automotive design and manufacturing company Techniplas managed to print conductive wiring directly into a concept steering wheel using the DragonFly Pro system in a single step.

This innovation was showcased at formnext, where the concept steering wheel was fitted into a car to show how the cognitive lighting was designed to work. Check out a short snippet of it here:
